Potential Problems

Like most other things in life, practice makes perfect when it comes to breastfeeding. With the right support network and confidence in your ability to get it right, you can overcome any problems that you experience.

This section is here to answer as many of your problems as possible and is full of facts and advice that you can trust. From sore nipples, to satisfying your baby’s appetite we’ve got the answers, and if there’s anything we haven’t covered your Midwife, Health Visitor, GP or the Breastfeeding Peer Suport Service will be able to offer you advice.

It can be quite scary looking at all the problems that can arise, but just remember you’re not likely to get them all and with the right support you might not experience any of them.
